Superboys by Malagaon is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur director of the city of Malagon. The residents of the city look at the Bollywood cinema for an escape so necessary by daily effort. Nasir is inspired by making a film for the people of Malagon, by the people of Malagon. He unites his group of friends Ragtag to give life to his vision, thus giving a new life contract in the city. The film is a touching but edifying vision of both cinema and friendship – and what happens when those two worlds clash.
